Reports to: Director of Distribution, Warehouse Manager

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

•         Schedules and manages incoming freight, domestic and containers / imports

•         Maintain KPI’s of freight forwarders, vendors and domestic freight lines

•         Manages relationships with multiple third-party vendors, freight forwarders, and the like

•         Handles scheduling and shipping of the RTV program and shipping outgoing customer orders

•         Administers all reporting pertaining to costs, demurrage and storage fees

•         Audits 10% of imports for accurate HTS coding

•         Assists with some inventory control administrative responsibilities

Job Requirements

Skills & Specifications:

•         3-5 years of experience in a Logistics-related position is required

•         Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred

•         Experience managing relationships with multiple third-party vendors and organization

•         Experience maintaining metrics and reports of ongoing activity within the department

•         Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective logistics processes

•         Basic understand of transportation equipment and terminology

•         Knowledge of applicable DOT safety regulations preferred

•         Customer Service experience

•         Must work with a sense of urgency

•         Must be detail oriented

•         Excellent computer and typing skills
